QA Tester

Location: Groningen, Netherlands (Hybrid: 1-3 days/week in-office) or Remote
Employment Type: Full-time (Direct employment with CropX)

About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Tester to join our team working on innovative sustainability and biodiversity platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions that support Dutch farming collectives in environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and automated testing scripts, primarily using Selenium and Python.
• Perform manual and automated regression testing to identify issues and verify bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand requirements and define testing scope.
• Document test results, defects, and quality metrics following best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in software testing, with a focus on automation tools like Selenium.
• Proven experience with Python (≥1 year) for automation scripting.
• Strong understanding of regression testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance processes.
• Fluent in Dutch; English proficiency is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Prior exposure to GIS or environmental data platforms is a plus.
