Job Description:
As a Solution Area Specialist, you will focus on driving sales opportunities through a deep understanding of cloud solutions, aligning these with customer business objectives and IT needs. You will demonstrate cloud value propositions, manage technical sales processes, and collaborate with various teams to ensure customer success.
Responsibilities:
- Secure new customer wins for cloud solutions, maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with sales teams.
- Present cloud solution value propositions that align with customer business objectives.
- Provide technical product overviews and insights tailored to customer needs.
- Enhance technical knowledge and offer innovative ideas to support customer success in the cloud.
- Position competitive solutions based on customer needs and experience.
- Audit and confirm implementation requirements and pricing to provide accurate cost projections.
- Demonstrate technical and business solutions to customers via online platforms.
- Conduct quick technical feasibility assessments and proposal developments for identified solutions.
- Achieve advanced knowledge of cloud offerings, taking advantage of comprehensive training resources.
- Act as the key technical contact for telesales teams with potential customers.
- Deliver group and one-on-one trainings on areas of expertise.
- Exceed team-level monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for new revenue and sales pipeline.
- Stay informed on the latest developments and pricing in cloud solutions.
Skills Needed:
- 3-6+ years in technology-related sales or business development; technical sales or pre-sales environment experience preferred.
- Broad knowledge of and ability to explain end-user scenarios and technical architecture for productivity and communication solutions.
- Knowledge of identity, authentication, security, privacy, and compliance as they relate to cloud and hybrid solutions.
- Understanding of cloud deployment and adoption planning.
- Experience with cloud-based productivity solutions, collaboration, communications solution designs, migrations, and technology management.
- Passion and understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends. Minimum Fundamentals certification is required, L200 certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, particularly in computer science, mathematics, or engineering.
- Proven track record of high performance and achieving goals.
- Initiative to independently grow technical knowledge.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for customer-facing success.
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Success-driven, effective in diverse teams, and adaptable to dynamic environments.
- Passion for cloud technologies and their potential to make an impact.
Language Skills:
- English: Intermediate or Fluent (verbal and written)
- Danish: Fluent or Native (verbal and written)
